This is a true piece of folk art. I bought this at a very old flea market a long time ago. Been in a cabinet ever since. I was told when I bought it that it was a “haint doll”. If this puppet could talk. I bet it has entertained a lot of kids in the hills with spooky stories. I am not sure what it is made of. Looks like a paper mache. I really hope this goes to someone who appreciates what a piece of art this is. Has a little chip above the eye that would be fixed with one drop of paint. I thought it was missing a finger but maybe not. It may be made that way. Perfect gift for any primitive or puppet collector.
